The enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) is a major issue
facing all APEC economies. While problems with IPR enforcement may differ
from economy to economy there are many resources that have been developed
by economies to address various aspects of IPR enforcement.
This data base seeks to provide a repository of information relating to
IPR enforcement that has been developed by or for member economies. Access
to this information will:
- allow member economies to access to the range of existing
resources relating to IPR enforcement so that APEC member economies
designing their own enforcement activities have a starting point,
- improve coordination in donor funded IPR capacity building
projects, through avoiding unnecessary duplication,
- publicise enforcement activities such as training courses
of interest to APEC economies.
