An important role for all IP Offices is increasing and/or improving the awareness and understanding of intellectual property (IP).  Many valuable resources have been developed by various member economies aimed at educating the public and key target markets, such as small business, about IP issues.

The purpose of the Public Education & Awareness (PE&A) Resources section is to facilitate information sharing between APEC member economies. Access to this information will allow member economies to share a range of existing resources designed for the purposes of improving the awareness and knowledge of IP.

Public Education & Awareness Resources Database
This database provides access to a library of resources used by IP offices of APEC member economies to effectively raise awareness of IP in their local market.  The PE&A resources available from this database cover a number of topics and subject matter and may also be targeted to key audience groups.
