APEC has recently approved the establishment of
Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Service Centres for member economies.
IPR Service Centres will provide important information related to protecting
IPRs, such as economy-wide codes (civil, administrative, criminal), laws (copyright,
trademark, patents, etc.), and other enforcement regulations and decrees; contact
information for government authorities; and other information economies may wish
to make available to the interested public.
Implementation of this initiative is at the discretion of each individual
member economy. Some economies may choose to use a Web site others may
choose to use a physical office as their Service Centre.
The proposal to develop Service Centres is attached for
reference.
Please select the economy you are interested in to view information about their Service Centre or be linked to their Service Centre web site (please note not all member economies have developed service centres - those with an * do have a service centre).
